Russian Chocolate Cheesecake

DIRECTION:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Add first 6 ingredients and mix together to make the dough for the crust. Knead well.
  3. Pinch off about a quarter of the dough and set aside.
  4. Butter a springform pan (or 2 cake pans) and press in the chocolate dough, pulling the crust all the way up the sides.
  5. Mix filling ingredients until smooth. Pour the filling into the pan(s).
  6. Pinch off little pieces off the reserved chocolate dough and randomly place them on the cheese filling (like flecks on a cow).
  7. Bake until the center of the cheesecake moves slightly when the pan is gently shaken, about 1 hour (it will become firm when it is cold).
  8. Cool to room temperature and then refrigerate for several hours.
